Discover Laos, Personally.

We are Latda and Kai, the team behind Dream Tours Asia—a small, family-run tour company based in Luang Prabang.

Latda is the heart of our company: a licensed Lao tour guide born and raised in Luang Prabang, with more than 20 years of experience welcoming travellers from around the world. Her deep local knowledge, warm personality and strong connections make every tour personal, relaxed and genuinely rooted in Lao life. From temples and traditions to nature, villages and the city’s best local food, she knows the stories and places that turn a visit into a meaningful experience.

Kai is the mind behind the scenes. Originally a civil engineer and a longtime traveller in Southeast Asia, he has visited Luang Prabang many times and now lives here permanently. He looks after the technical side, planning and marketing, while bringing a passion for local food, cooking and discovering the everyday details that make a place special.

Together, we create authentic, flexible and carefully organised experiences that go beyond the usual tourist route. We offer food tours, cultural and nature experiences, private tours and custom itineraries shaped around your interests, pace and travel plans.

Latda personally guides tours in English, Lao, Thai and Chinese. For other languages, we work with trusted independent local guides and can organise tours according to your needs. Tour planning, bookings and practical communication can also be arranged in German.
